So, Monday night, Baylee helped herself to her dinner, our cat’s whole bowl of food, and 2 big slices of bread that she jumped on our kitchen counter to grab……10 minutes later, she was sniffing around the kitchen floor for scraps. I swear, she’s more of a bottomless pit than I am after a 9-mile run! Therefore, instead of the old saying “I’m so hungry I could eat like a horse”, I’m re-doing it to “I’m so hungry, I could eat like Baylee”. It fits, no?
So, I have a lot of catching up to do, I’ll just give you a quick run-down of my Monday(if I can even remember that far back) and Tuesday.
MONDAY
Monday morning I woke up bright and early (ugh, not easy on a Monday!) and did a 3.75 mile interval run on the treadmill between 5.7 – 6.4 mph. I really hope I’m getting faster 🙂 I think I am, I mean I used to run at 5.4 and now can do 5.7 comfortably. I’m getting there, I’m getting there.
My eats throughout the day were:
TUESDAY
My am workout included 15 minutes of Yoga and then the Level 1 of Jillian’s 30 Day Shred. Enough to get my heart pumpin’ in the morning, that’s for sure!
My eats throughout the day:
And then it was time for a run….6 miles to be exact. The weather was GORGEOUS so I decided to go yesterday after work instead of this morning in the dark. It was a horrible, horrible run. It was crazy windy and I felt the resistance the entire time. Plus, I ate the half clif bar right before the run and it sat in my stomach like a brick the whole time. Yuck. Good thing I looked pretty in my SHORTS and TANK TOP! Outside! Crazy 🙂
Supper is unpictured because I was crabby at that point. I’ve been craving Mexican forever so decided to order from our local Mexican restaurant and bring it home. Then I had some chocolate PB for dessert 🙂
Alright, I’ll be back tonight with a Wednesday recap and an exciting package!!!!
What a bad girl Baylee is! I’m lucky, my dogs are at most 10 inches high at the shoulder, so no eating off the counter for them.
Oh my gosh that wrap looks so good!
I think Baylee wants a bite of your date!
I see that grilled cheese and hummus wrap…don’t think I missed that bad boy. Welcome to the club.
Glad you’re back 😉 haha- I like the saying- I may steal it!! Baylee is such a cutie. The Black Bean Burger, Hummus and Cheese Grilled Wrap looks amazing- I have to try this combo- thank you for the idea
Love all your food especially the wraps! Which black bean burger did you use? I love the Morningstar version but always looking for others.
Sarah’s wraps are taking over the world!! WCMN CLIF!! Delish 🙂
Hope you’re enjoying the nice weather!
Last week my parent’s boxer ate half a loaf of Chocolate Banana Bread and 2 Scones that had been sitting on the kitchen counter that night. He was fine the next da, but my sister is still pissed about her missing bread and scones..lol
LOL – I could eat like Baylee after long runs too!
Sorry the outside run was so “painful” – THAT’S HOW ALL MY RUNS HAVE BEEN THIS WEEK! I totally understand! Love the tank top!
[…] tomorrow for steamed buns. So, instead I made a grilled provolone and hummus wrap that I saw on Melissa’s Journey, a bowl of Wegman’s red lentil chili, two carrots and leftover brussels sprouts. For […]
