What a whirlwind day! I started out with a 3 mile run. Not my best, not my worst. My legs felt like lead and I wished I had slept in instead, but I finished strong and was glad I got it in. Again, I’m reminded why I workout now in the mornings….I get so mentally POOPED at work that half the time I would never go after work! This definitely would have been one of those days.
My day was so boring that I was actually falling asleep at my desk – literally. It wasn’t pretty. Good thing I am in my own little jail cell cubicle and you have to peek in to see me. I did get some possibly good news in the afternoon though that might affect my job in the future….HOPEFULLY! Cross your fingers for me, pray for me, whatever and hopefully I will have good news soon. Maybe.
After work I went to my Monday Weight Watchers meeting and was pleasantly surprised!!! I’m confused because my scale at home said I was up from last week but then I weighed in and I was down 1.4#!!!! I was THRILLED! Could my hard work be paying off??
BREAKFAST

Leftover crock pot oats! MMMMM, I’m loving the banana, cinnamon, and raisin combo in the crockpot! It really tastes and feels and looks like yummy bread pudding. This baby kept me full for quite a while.
SNACK
I really missed my morning coffee today! All last week I did decaf coffee – like I’ve mentioned, I’m all about the warm creaminess of coffee, not the fake energy boost. I needed something warm to try to fill the void. This guy did an okay job but you can bet your booty I’ll be back to my coffee tomorrow!

LUNCH
Ever since I tried split pea soup last time, I haven’t stopped thinking about it!!! I tried a new kind today (OOPS, I totally forgot to take a pic of the can, sorry! This was an organic Split Pea Soup with low sodium). The same thing happened this time as last time – the first couple of bites are okay and I’m just not sure about it, but then by the 6th or 7th bite, I’m IN LOVE!
I paired it with baby carrots and a toasted Arnold’s Thin.
This turned out to be an absolutely PERFECT combo!!!! YUM-ness!
SNACK
YOPLAIT HAS NEW YOGURTS OUT!!!!! I bought both the Cherry Cobbler and the Cinnamon Roll…SO excited!
It was REALLY nummy!!!!! I would definitely get it again…..well technically I already did since I have 2 more in my fridge 🙂 I was surprised to find them so I stocked up in case they’re out next time I go.
SUPPER
Leftover meatloaf along with a sweet potato, baked in the microwave. This pairing was extremely delicious and exactly what I was in the mood for!!
I also need some filler and to get in more veggies so I had a yummy side salad: mixed greens, green pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimpies, and some light Ranch dressing.
I also wanted to share with you guys some new gum I found at Target today and can’t get enough of….It is really good and helped me surpass some sweets today 🙂
I’m off to finish The Bachelor!!!! LOVE this show!
